MUS Plays Baylor School 2/18/12 In Round One of State Tournament

The varsity basketball team plays Baylor School at Ross Lynn Arena in the first round of the TSSAA Division II AA State Basketball Tournament on Saturday, February 18 at 5:00pm. Keep an eye on the basketball blog for schedule and bracket updates. Since the game is a tournament match, U Cards and season passes will not be accepted.

Eighth-Grade Uniforms

I would like to collect all uniforms by the end of this week. Please wash the uniform and have your son return the two jerseys, shorts, and warm-up tops to me in the next several days. Thank you for your cooperation.

Also, Coach Bakke graciously filmed the championship game, so if you would like a copy of the game, please let me know, and I will pass along a CD.

Eighth-Grade Practice Schedule: February 2-6, 201

We will practice Thursday, February 2, as previously scheduled from 5:30-7:30 pm. We will then take Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off, and we will return to practice Monday, February 6, from 5:30-7:30 pm. We will open the Shelby-League Tournament Tuesday, February 7, in the semifinals, held at ECS at 7:00 pm. If we win, we will practice Wednesday, February 8, from 3:30-5:30 pm, and the championship game will be Thursday, February 9, at ECS at 7:45 pm. 

We will play the winner of the ECS-Briarcrest game in the semifinals. Those two teams will play Saturday, February 4, at 6:00 pm at ECS. 

Date Change for Arlington Game

The Varsity and JV games vs. Arlington scheduled for February 6th have been changed to Wednesday,February 8th. JV will tip off at 6:00 followed by Varsity at 7:30. Games will be played at MUS.

Eighth-Grade Game-Schedule Change: Collierville Classic

Our game tomorrow in the Collierville Classic has been canceled. The team we were to play backed out, and the organizer informed Coach Bakke today that he could not find a suitable replacement. So we will be off tomorrow (Saturday) and practice at our regularly scheduled time Sunday (1:00-3:00)  

Basketball Game Changes, Jan. 31

The upcoming game against Jackson Christian School on Tuesday, January 31, has been moved to MUS. There will be no junior varsity game that night, so the varsity team’s tipoff will begin in Ross Lynn Arena at 6:30 p.m. Go, Owls!

Eighth-Grade: Collierville Classic - Saturday, January 28

Our game Saturday, January 28, in the Collierville Classic has been set. We will play at 2:00 pm at the Collierville Community Center, located at 440 West Powell Road. Click here for a map.

New Game Scheduled for JV

The JV will play White Station on Thursday, February 2nd at 7:00 at MUS.

JV Practice for Wednesday, 1/25/12

The JV team will practice today at 3:15.
