Congrats to our opponents from Mississippi on a well played game last Friday. They are an outstanding team. It was a tough defeat for us as I believe our guys gave a great effort during the game but unfortunately we came up short on several plays.
The Mercury Radio Players of the Game were Jr LB-DE James Prather and Jr. WR Devin Perry. Both of these guys played an outstanding game. Our Buzzard Player of the Week went to SO DL Peyton Jones. Peyton gave great effort all week on the defensive scout team.
We look to bounce back this week against a good East team at Homecoming as we now start to prepare for the home stretch of conference games.
