L.A. Trades Ogelsby & Wilson to San Francisco for Bailey (MUS 1999)

Major League Lacrosse (MLL), the premier professional outdoor lacrosse league, announced today that the Los Angeles Riptide have traded midfielders Matt Ogelsby and Garrett Wilson to the San Francisco Dragons for midfielder Ben Bailey, according to MLL Commissioner David Gross.
Ogelsby, acquired by the Riptide in the 2006 Supplemental Draft, served as a team captain for Los Angeles in 2007, scoring two goals and an assist in four games. A graduate of Duke University, Ogelsby was named ACC Player of the Year in 1995.
Wilson was selected by the Riptide in the 2008 Supplemental Draft. During his senior season at Georgetown University, Wilson served as a team Tri-Captain. He was also named a Scholar All-American by the USILA.
Bailey, a 2004 graduate of the United States Naval Academy, was selected by the Dragons with the sixth overall pick in the 2008 Supplemental Draft. At Navy, Bailey scored 54 goals and collected 10 assists. He was named Navy's Most Outstanding Offensive Player following his sophomore season.
