Bowling has come to MUS!
In its first season as a varsity sport, the Owl bowling team began their year last Tuesday as they battled rival CBHS at the Winchester Bowling Lanes.
Though the Owls came up short against the talented Purple Wave, the defending state runners-up, Coach David Jackson and Coach Michael Schwartz were pleased to get the season underway.
Then last Thursday, MUS got their first team bowling victory as they defeated Elliston Baptist, 24.5-2.5, at Billy Hardwick's.
MUS bowlers included Robert Carwright, Ryan Dillon, Will Nease, Reid Sanders, Paul Stephens, and Colin Thomas.
The Owls next return to the lanes over Fall Break as they take on Harding at Cordova. The first ball will be thrown at 3:30.
