The action started off early with a heated contest between MHEA and MUS in the 200 Medley relay. The Owls relay of Wellford, Jakstas, Clark, and Tabor was edged out but still finished within a second of the school record. Things starting trending upward with Crews Wellford winning the 50 Backstroke and 200 Invidivual Medley and Pace Clark taking the 200 Freestyle and 100 Butterfly. Clark broke his own school record in the 100 Butterfly with a time of 51.99. Freshman Sherman Tabor placed 2nd in the 50 Freestyle and Junior Nedas Jakstas took 2nd in the 50 Breaststroke. The night finished with a close win in the 200 yard relay by the team of Brooksbank, Wellford, Tabor, and Clark. Nearly everyone dropped time last night but it was not enough to place 1st as the Owls ended up finishing 10 points behind MHEA in a tightly contested meet.
