Fr-JV Championship Results

Our young guys did very well at CBHS the last couple of days. Top point scorers were Sam Cox-28 points (1st in PV, 800, and 2nd in 400); Michael Glenn-21 points(2nd in the 100,3rd in the 200, 4th in the LJ, 5th in the TJ);  Ivan Denson-20 points (2nd in LJ, 3rd in 100 and 200); and Shea Gabrielleschi-20 points (1st in 1600 and 3200).  Thanks to all the people at CBHS for hosting the Fr/JV series this year.

Shelby 7/8 League Championships

The Shelby 7/8 league Track and Field Championships will be held at MUS on Wednseday, April 30 and Friday, May 2. Click the link below to view the meet program. Coaches should check for entries and that names are listed properly.

MEET PROGRAM

Shelby Frosh/JV Championships

We will have an excellent group particiapting on Monday and Tuesday at CBHS in the Frosh/JV championships. The boys have seen their schedule of events and we expect to see our guys do well. We will post results on Wednesday.

CBHS Inv. Results

The coaches were very proud of the team for an excellent showing this weekend. Personal best were achieved almost in every event. A special congratulations to Stephond Allmond who set a new school mark in the triple jump. Stephond went 43'10" which eclipsed the old mark of 43'05.5" set by Devin Owens in 2005. This team has exceeded all expectations at this point as we are getting a lot of points from underclassmen. OUr seniors are still leading the way and it was good to see Chris Taylor back in running form this week and also Sam Goldstein was able to set a new personal best in the pole vault at 14'.

Team Update

We had another good showing yesterday in the meet with Germantown and Rossville. After our first 6 meets we have a record of 38-5. Our depth was on display again yesterday when we had many different guys place.

We now have a few days to get back to practice and try to improve before our next big meet, the CBHS Inv. on April 25 & 26. We will have the younger guys run next Tuesday at CBHS in a FR-JV meet.
