Middle School Meet 4 results

On a cool and cloudy spring day here are the results. Congrats to Terrell Jackson for resetting the 400M Dash record that he broke earlier in the season

Collierville Results

Team finished 8th at the Collierville Dragon Relays. John Sousoulas led the team in scoring winning the triple jump with a PR of 42'10" and finishing 4th in the long jump. Eli Goldstein led the pole vault group finishing 2nd with a season best jump of 13'0". Sam Cox also cleared 13' to finish 4th and Frasier Humphreys set a new PR at 10'6" to finish 8th. Dustin Conway set a new PR in the 200 running 22.72 in the prelims and then captured 4th place in the finals. and the 4*200 relay team (Edward Lake, James Rantzow, Jak Kinney, and Conway) finished 4th.

Varsity And JV Info for next meets

On Friday and Saturday some of our team will participate in the Collierville Dragon Relays. The meet is held at Collierville's stadium which is behind Collierville Elementary School at 590 Peterson Lake Road.

Terrell Jackson Sets New School Record.

Terrell Jackson (7th Grader) broke the MUS Lower School record in the 400M Dash last Thursday with a time of 54.42. This broke the record set by Mark Cox back in 1985. Congrats to Terrell on this accomplishment. Mark's name remains in the Lower School record book as he is a member of the 4*400 relay team that holds the record at 3:52.54 along with Griff Jenkins, Ray Hayles and Robert Ducklo.

Highlights of Houston Classic

We had several really solid performances this past weekend at the Houston Classic. Individually our top scorer was John Sousalous coming back after an injury and finishing 4th in the triple jump with a jump of 41'09.5". Our 4*200 relay came in second with a time of 1:31.17. That team was composed of Michael Glenn, James Rantzow, Alex Dale, and Dustin Conway. Jak Kinney ran a PR in the 300 Hurdles in a very strong field with a time of 42.86. The team next competes this weekend in the Collierville Dragon Relays.

Houston Track Classic and 9th/JV Meet info

This weekend we compete at the Houston Track Classic and Houston High School.

On Monday we will send most of the 9th and 10th graders to a meet at CBHS. The 9th graders compete against 9th graders and the 10th against JV. This is a preliminary for the Championship meet in a couple of weeks.
