When we started this track season we knew we would be a young team but I do not think we had any idea how young we would be. Every point we scored in the region was by an underclassman. Congrats to those guys who have qualified for the state meet. In the field events we advanced Frasier Humphreys (10) in the pole vault, John Sousalous (11) in the long jump, and Harrison Williams (09) in the high jump. On the track Dustin Conway (10) qualified in the 200 and the 4*100 Relay (James Rantzow (10), Jak Kinney (10), Alex Dale (11), Conway) and 4*200 relay (Rantzow, Will Whitley (10), Dale, Conway) both claimed region victories thus advancing to the state. The state meet is this Friday and our guys are looking to improve on those solid region performances.
