Our guys who qualified performed well at the State meet. The 4*100 relay team came in 2nd. That group was James Rantzow, Jak Kinney, Alex Dale, and Dustin Conway. The 4*200 team finished 4th with Will Whitley replacing Kinney. Conway followed up with a 6th place finish in the 200. In the field events we had Harrison WIlliams finish 5th in the high jump, John Sousalous 5th in the long jump and Frasier Humphreys 7th in the pole vault.
This team shows a lot of promise for the future as we return all of our point producers from the regional and state meet. We also have some excellent track kids moving up from the lower school team. We look forward to next spring with great expectations.
Each year the Robert Hussey Track MVP Award is presented to the athlete who produces the most points for the team during the season. This year our winner is Dustin Conway. Dustin is a 10th grader who anchored both our 4*100 and 4*200 relay teams and was consistently our top sprinter in the 100 and 200 throughout the season. Congrats to Dustin.
